Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Jharkhand, Ranchi has been entrusted the task of Collection, Compilation, Tabulation and Analysis of various types of data. These data are useful for scientific and economic planning. These data are also useful for those who are involved in research works. District Statistical Officers are responsible for flow of these data to DES level. Apart from District Statistical Officers, data from different departments are also collected.
